Horseplay Ride Fundraiser

June 9—Saturday—Horseplay Benefit Ride

Event:  Join Whatcom BCHW for a fun horseplay benefit ride on
Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Lunch at 12 p.m.)

Location:  Butler Hill Equestrian Center, 7478 Butler Hill Rd. Burlington, WA
Includes arena obstacle challenge, trail ride, smoked brisket cookout—

Cost:  $40 donation/rider, $25 donation/spectator
Mountain trail contest, intermediate and advanced riders—
add $20 donation/rider

Proceeds benefit Whatcom BCHW:
Back Country Horsemen have been teaching our Leave No Trace Principles by example while helping to maintain thousands of miles of multi-use trails. Your local Whatcom County Chapter of Backcountry Horsemen works with City and County Parks Departments, DNR, US Forest Service, Washington Trails Association, Pacific NW Trails Association to protect Multi-User Trailheads and trail facilities in remote
areas of our region. Volunteer members ride and pack in supplies by horseback on maintenance projects to benefit many users.
