STEWART MOUNTAIN TRAIL INFORMATION
Trail Access Update
ALERT - JANUARY 2012
Important Information!
As you all know they are logging at Stewart Mtn. right now.
They have posted “No Entry” signs by the trail head and on the trail. They have had some problems with hikers not respecting their sign and hiking while they are logging, which interrupts their job. This is a safety concern for everybody. They have had to put a guard by the trail head to keep people out of the area.
We have been given the privilege to ride in this area, please respect their request right now to stay away until they are done logging so we don’t lose that privilege.
Please do not ride, hike or bike at Stewart Mtn. at this time until they are done logging.
Sharon is in contact with the logging Company and DNR and they figured they will be done in a couple of months. Bill McKenna has been notified of this issue and has requested all members be notified. They will keep us informed and I will notify everybody once the logging is done.
For the safety of everybody including our animals, please stay away from Stewart Mountain for the next couple of months.
Please forward this email to all your friends that ride, hike or bike at Stewart to let them know to stay away from Stewart for now or give them a call. If they have any questions, please have them call me at 734-2567.
