HORSEBACK RIDING RULES

PLEASE NOTE: FAILURE TO REMOVE YOUR HORSES WASTE WILL BE SUFFICIENT CAUSE TO REFUSE YOUR FUTURE USE OF OUR TRAILS, AND MAY CAUSE THE SUSPENSION OF HORSE BACK RIDING IN THIS PARK. NO TRAIL RIDING NORTH OF THE ROAD!

 

***NO HORSEBACK RIDING ON WEEKENDS IN JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST***

1. Please ride only on main road and on trails that are shaded on the map. Map available at the Park.

2.  No riding in or around the creek, picnic areas, or on the maintained grass areas.

3.  Walk horses only.

4.  The owner is responsible for their horse’s behavior and containment and for the removal of animals waste.           

5.  No horse or other animals may be hitched or confined in a manner that may cause damage to any tree, shrub, improvement or structure.

6.  Please report any downed trees or hazards over the trails.                                        

7.   Enjoy your ride, respect other trails users, and leave the park better than you found it.
